Soap Opera Practice

This is our practice soap opera trailer. We have copied scenes from Coronation Street and Emmerdale, including Frank asking Carla where she wants to go on their honeymoon (Coronation Street). We didnt copy this completely though, we did challenge the conventions. For example, we shot the characters as thought they were sat on a park, as apposed to in a flat, and Frank was showing Carla destinations on his iPhone rather than on a laptop, to show they are younger and more modern.
